Spinach & Spirulina Cacao Smoothie

Enjoy this simple, nutrient dense smoothie as a breakfast or as a post workout smoothie rich in plant protein and healthy fats!

Ingredients

  • 2 large frozen bananas

  • 1 1/2 cups filtered or spring water

  • 1/2 cup ice

  • 1 large handful fresh spinach

  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds

  • 2 tbsp cacao nibs

  • 2 tbsp almond or peanut butter

  • 2 tsp spirulina powder

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth.

  2. Garnish with additional hemp seeds and cacao nibs and serve immediately!
